Display driver r300 stopped working

 · "Display Driver R has stopped working and been recovered" or something very similar to that. I have tried every map, and every game mode. I have tried mulitple CPU restarts, and reinstalled the game. I then went to ATI's site, and downloaded the latest updates for my video card. As I was installing the update, the screen went black, and after  · I use Chrome as my web browser and I regularly get the display driver r stopped responded message. I'm not viewing any videos at the time, none that I'm aware of anyway. I have a Fujitsu-Siemens laptop, ATI Radeon XPRESS M card, running Vista Basic. Very similar to BiscuitBuscemi. It's driving me mad. Any suggestions appreciated.  · It says the R display driver has stopped working and recovered pretty much constantly until the whole screen goes blank, then blue and then the whole computer crashes. It only ever happens on that website and never happened before.
